Hey beauties and beaus!
So have you ever got into a groove and then wham!! Err’thing gets shaken up. I used to be able to adjust to schedule changes quickly and with the ease. But as of lately, not so much so. However, I refuse to put myself under undue stress. Instead I had to take a lesson from Whitley Gilbert and…RELAX RELATE RELEASE!
Over the summer, I had loads of time to workout, plan my meals and binge watch Being Mary Jane, Underground and This is Us (great shows right?!)…but the one thing I did NOT do was rest. Therefore, when it was time to go back to work, my body was exhausted. I didn’t realize it until I had to go back to work and my body was like:
LOL, hilarious yes but it is the sho nuff truth. Welp, 3 weeks have gone by and I’m ready to get back into the swings of things. I do miss the beat down sessions with my trainer, but I also realize that in life you will have to make adjustments at times. Needless to say, this was a valuable lesson learned and instead of beating myself up, I’m jumping back in the game one day at a time, because after all, WE CAN BOUNCE BACK FROM A SETBACK!
